Founder of Dasaprakash
The
Dasaprakash brand has been in the catering and hospitality
business since 1921. The group started from Mysore with a
restaurant. The founder of the company Late Shri K. Seetha Rama Rao
a visionary and a passionate hotelier started expanding the group in the southern part of the country
with many Dasaprakash South Indian restaurants and hotels.
In 1972, Dasaprakash came to North India, New Delhi with its
first restaurant at the Ambassador Hotel promoted by Mr. K. Bala
Krishna Rao the son of Late Shri Seetha Rama Rao.
In 2001, Mr. K. Bala Krishna Rao along with Mr. Lakshmi Raman
(Chairman) and Mr. Aditya Raman (Managing Director) became the
promoters of Dasaprakash Restaurant & Ice
Cream Parlour (P) Ltd. In 2001 Mr. Rao also sold his share of the Dasaprakash
brand usage rights worldwide to Dasaprakash Restaurant & Ice
Cream Parlour (P) Ltd, of which he is still one of the
promoters.
The company is a part of the Noble
House Group of Companies, headed by Mr. Lakshmi Raman as
Group Chairman/Managing Director and Mr. Aditya Raman as Group
President/Managing Director.
